Thanks Mark for also sharing your interview with Monty Seton. One of the interesting aspects of interviewing different managers is their different perspectives on similar questions. For example, Monty has mentioned two different aspects of how leadership in the public and private sector differ, ie the delegation of authority and the defined set of goals financially. All very interesting.
Monty has also reinforced the idea that leadership isn’t all a ‘gift’ – that it does need to be worked at continually through self-reflection, seeking feedback and ongoing learning. Most definitely!
